Amador Celebration Berry Trifle
 Pair with a delicious Deaver Vineyards Raspberry Sparkling Wine (Available ONLINE)

Perfect for an Independence Day Celebration Party dessert. We've added a twist with our famous Golden Nectar Port and Robert Rothschild's Red Raspberry Gourmet Sauce.

Of course a glass of Deaver Vineyards Raspberry Sparkling wine to enjoy with this quick and show stopping dessert would make any day a celebration.

Ingredients:

1 pint of blueberries
1 pint strawberries, hulled and cut into thick slices
1/4 cup of Deaver Vineyards Golden Nectar Port
1/2 cup of Robert Rothschild Red Raspberry Gourmet Sauce reserve four tablespoons for glass
Juice 1/2 lemon and zest of one lemon
1-12oz container of whipped topping
1 package of Vanilla Pizzelle Italian cookies (quartered)

Method:

Place strawberries in a bowl sprinkle with half of the Golden Nectar Port, toss lightly. In a bowl combine lemon juice and half of the lemon zest with whipped topping.

Serving suggestion; make into individual servings (we are using martini glasses)

To assemble: Spoon a small amount of the juice from the strawberry mixture in to bottom of the glass. Then layer with Pizzelle, strawberries, blueberries and top with the whipped topping. Repeat until the glass is full. Finish with a layer of the whipped topping. To add some pizzazz add a slice of strawberry and a couple of blueberries and sprinkle with lemon zest.
